Test like a pro. Recover like one.
VO2 max, DEXA, blood biomarkers and supervised recovery, read by physicians rather than printed as a report you decode alone.

A number is not a plan. A scan is not a doctor.
Hyderabad has places to get a VO2 max number or a DEXA printout. What is harder to find is a clinic where those numbers are read by physicians, set against the 400+ parameters of the full assessment, and turned into a training, fuelling and recovery plan.
Genoryx tests the way professional sport does, with cardiopulmonary exercise testing, DEXA body composition and hormonal and metabolic panels. Then it does what a testing lab cannot: clinical interpretation, medical screening, and a plan that is re-measured every quarter.
Built for competitive athletes, weekend racers, and anyone who trains seriously.

Who it is for.
A good fit if you
- follow a structured training plan or are building towards a race
- train hard but feel flat, keep getting injured, or have stopped improving
- want to keep strength and fitness into your fifties and beyond
Talk to a physician first if you
- get chest pain, faintness or palpitations on exertion. A cardiac review comes before any maximal test
- are recovering from a recent injury or surgery
- are pregnant. We adjust or postpone maximal testing
Why a clinic, not a gym test
Physician-read, not printout-read
Your VO2 max, DEXA and blood panel are interpreted together by a physician: thresholds, zones and red flags explained in a consultation, not left in a PDF.
The blood work most gyms skip
Ferritin, testosterone, cortisol, thyroid and inflammation: the markers that show whether you are under-fuelled, over-trained or ready to push. Measured alongside your performance tests.
Recovery with medical screening
Cryotherapy, compression, red light, PEMF and HBOT, prescribed after clinical assessment rather than sold as a spa menu.
What happens.
- 01
Discovery call
15 minutes · phone or video
We check your training history and health, and tell you how to prepare for maximal testing.
- 02
Baseline visit
One visit · VO2 max, DEXA, blood draw
All three tests in a single visit at Banjara Hills or Manikonda, scheduled around your training week.
- 03
Physician performance review
Dedicated consultation
Your engine (VO2 max), your build (DEXA) and your chemistry (biomarkers) read together as one picture.
- 04
Train, recover, retest
Every quarter
Training zones, fuelling corrections and recovery prescriptions, re-measured so progress is shown rather than assumed.
The blood work, marker by marker.
The markers named above, each with a plain-language page in our biomarker library: what it measures, and what tends to move it.

What the evidence says.
In large cohort studies, cardiorespiratory fitness is one of the strongest measurable predictors of long-term survival, and muscle mass tracks with how well people age.
These are associations from observational data, not guarantees. What testing gives you is an accurate starting point and a way to see whether your training is changing it. For athletes, the IOC also recommends screening for low energy availability, which blood work and DEXA help detect.

Meta-analysis of 33 studies (about 103,000 people): each 1-MET higher fitness level was linked to 13% lower all-cause mortality.

In 122,007 patients, lower measured fitness was associated with higher long-term mortality, with no upper limit of benefit observed.

Older adults with more muscle mass relative to height had lower all-cause mortality.

Low energy availability harms hormones, bone and performance in male and female athletes; the IOC sets out how clinicians should screen for it.
Physician oversight.
A doctor reviews your history before your first session and sets the plan. Both physicians work across both clinics. No technician-only sessions.
Common questions.
What does a VO2 max test involve at Genoryx?
A graded cardiopulmonary exercise test: you run or ride with a breath-analysis mask while the intensity rises in steps. It measures your maximum oxygen uptake, ventilatory thresholds and training zones. A physician reviews the result with you.
How should I prepare for VO2 max testing?
Avoid hard training for 24 hours beforehand, eat a light meal two to three hours before, and bring the shoes and clothes you train in. Tell us about any medicines, especially for blood pressure or heart rhythm.
How is this different from a gym assessment or a diagnostic lab scan?
Testing labs hand you numbers; gyms estimate them. Genoryx pairs lab-grade testing with a 400+ parameter assessment and physician interpretation, so the numbers become training zones, fuelling corrections and medical decisions.
Who is this for? Professional athletes only?
No. It is built for competitive amateurs, runners, cyclists and anyone who trains seriously. If you follow a structured training plan, baseline testing changes how you train.
What does performance testing cost in Hyderabad?
Individual assessments at Genoryx range from ₹4,000 to ₹30,000 depending on scope; testing bundles and memberships bring the effective rate down. Book a consultation for exact pricing.
Can I combine testing with recovery sessions?
Yes, that is the design. Test, get your physician-built plan, then use cryotherapy, compression, red light, PEMF or HBOT sessions matched to your training load at either clinic.
Where is the lab located?
Performance testing runs at both Genoryx clinics, in Banjara Hills and Manikonda. Addresses, hours and directions are listed at the end of this page.
