Biological Age Testing · Hyderabad
Your body has a biological age.
Epigenetic clock testing read by a physician, not a kit in the post. Know your number, what is driving it, and the plan to move it.
- DNA methylation clock
- 400+ parameters for context
- Physician review
- 2 clinics
Chronological age is a date. Biological age is a measurement.
Two people born the same year can be ageing at different rates. A biological age test reads DNA methylation patterns, the epigenetic clock, to estimate how old your body behaves and how fast it is ageing.
At-home kits give you a number and leave you alone with it. At Genoryx, your epigenetic age is measured alongside the 400+ parameter entry assessment, with blood panels, DEXA body composition and VO2 max, so the number comes with context.
A physician then explains what is driving your result and builds a plan to improve it. Quarterly retesting shows the trend, not a one-off snapshot.

Who it is for.
A good fit if you
- want a baseline before problems show up
- have a family history of heart disease, diabetes or early ageing and want to know where you stand
- are already changing diet, sleep or training and want to measure whether it works
Talk to a physician first if you
- have symptoms that need a diagnosis now, such as chest pain or unexplained weight loss. This is not an urgent-care test
- want a single number with no follow-up. A home kit may suit you better
- are under 18
Why a physician, not a kit in the post
A physician reads your result
A biological age number without interpretation is trivia. Our physicians explain what is driving it, metabolic, hormonal or inflammatory, and what to do about it.
Context from 400+ parameters
Epigenetic age is one lens. We pair it with blood panels, DEXA and VO2 max so the picture is complete and the plan is precise.
A number you can track
Knowing your biological age matters only if it guides action. Plans are built from your data and checked with quarterly retesting.
What happens.
- 01
Discovery call
15 minutes · phone or video
We confirm the test suits your goals and tell you how to prepare.
- 02
Assessment visit
One visit · Banjara Hills or Manikonda
Sample collection and body composition in a single visit, covering everything needed for your biological age analysis.
- 03
Physician review
When results are back · a few weeks
A physician walks you through your epigenetic age, what is driving it and where the leverage is.
- 04
Plan, then retest
Every quarter
You leave with a physician-built plan. Retesting shows whether your numbers are moving.
The blood markers behind PhenoAge.
PhenoAge, from the Levine study cited below, is built on nine routine blood markers plus calendar age. Each one has a plain-language page in our biomarker library.
- Albumin
- Creatinine
- Fasting glucose
- C-reactive protein
- Lymphocytes
- Mean cell volume (MCV)
- Red cell distribution width (RDW)
- Alkaline phosphatase
- White cell count

The treatments, in detail.
What the evidence says.
Epigenetic clocks are validated research tools. Across large cohorts they predict mortality and age-related disease better than birth date alone.
For one person, a single result carries measurement noise, and different clocks can disagree. Evidence that interventions move the clock is early: small trials with modest effects. So we treat your number as a starting point to retest, not a verdict.

Physician oversight.
A doctor reviews your history before your first session and sets the plan. Both physicians work across both clinics. No technician-only sessions.
Common questions.
What is a biological age test?
It analyses DNA methylation patterns, chemical marks on your DNA that change with lifestyle and health, to estimate how old your body functionally is, independent of your birth date. This "epigenetic clock" method is the most widely studied measure of biological age.
How is this different from ordering an at-home kit online?
The lab science can be similar; everything around it is not. A kit gives you a number. Genoryx measures your epigenetic age alongside the 400+ parameter entry assessment, a physician explains the result, and retesting shows the trend.
How accurate is a single result?
Clocks are reliable across populations, but any single measurement has some noise, and different clocks can give different numbers. That is why we read it alongside your blood panels and look at the trend over repeat tests rather than one figure.
What does a biological age test cost in Hyderabad?
The epigenetic age test is available on its own or inside our assessment programmes. Individual sessions at Genoryx range from ₹4,000 to ₹30,000 depending on scope; the full Spectrum assessment is priced as a programme. Book a consultation for exact pricing.
Can biological age change?
Published research shows some biological age measures change with diet, sleep and training, though effects in trials so far are modest. No therapy we offer is an anti-ageing treatment. Members track their trend through quarterly retesting; no outcome is promised in advance.
How long until I get results?
Epigenetic analysis is lab-processed and typically returns within a few weeks of sample collection. Your physician consultation is scheduled once the full picture (blood panels, DEXA, VO2 max, epigenetic age) is ready.
Where can I take the test in Hyderabad?
At either Genoryx clinic, in Banjara Hills or Manikonda. Sample collection and body composition scanning happen in a single visit. Addresses, hours and directions are listed at the end of this page.
