The Genoryx Pulse is our mid-tier longevity assessment package designed for individuals who want meaningful depth without the full clinical immersion of our Spectrum programme. It answers not just "where am I now?" but "where am I heading?" — by combining blood biomarkers with functional fitness testing and expert interpretation.
Like every Genoryx package, Pulse starts with the 400+ parameter entry assessment. Its blood work covers the markers that matter most for longevity: metabolic health (fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, HbA1c, comprehensive lipid panel including ApoB and Lp(a)), inflammation (hs-CRP, homocysteine), hormonal status (total and free testosterone or oestradiol, SHBG, thyroid cascade, cortisol, DHEA-S), organ function (liver and kidney panels), and micronutrient status (vitamin D, B12, folate, ferritin, magnesium RBC). This panel goes well beyond routine blood work and uses longevity-optimized reference ranges — not the disease-detection ranges used by conventional labs.
On top of that, Pulse adds a VO2 Max cardiopulmonary exercise test, the reference measure of cardiorespiratory fitness. Fitness is strongly linked with survival. In a 2018 study of 122,007 patients who had treadmill testing (Mandsager K et al., JAMA Network Open), reduced cardiorespiratory fitness was associated with a mortality risk comparable to or greater than traditional risk factors such as smoking, diabetes and coronary artery disease, and no upper limit of benefit was observed. Your VO2 Max result gives your physician an objective measure of your cardiovascular capacity and a clear target for improvement.
Pulse then adds a 60-minute physician consultation where your entry assessment and VO2 Max data are integrated into a comprehensive health assessment. Your physician contextualises the data against your health history, family risk factors, and personal objectives, then outlines specific, actionable recommendations for nutrition, exercise, supplementation, and therapeutic interventions.
The Pulse is our most popular assessment package because it provides the data density needed for genuine insight at a price point and time commitment that fits a busy professional's schedule. The entire assessment — blood draw, VO2 Max test, and consultation — is completed in approximately half a day. Book a consultation with our longevity physician to schedule your Pulse assessment.
